Scope of Work
The project involved a full renovation, including dismantling the old kitchen and making structural and aesthetic improvements. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of the tasks we completed:
Utilities Setup
Isolated the water and electrical systems to ensure safety during the renovation.
Demolition & Removal:
Removed all existing kitchen units, clearing the space for the new installation.
Removed an outdated serving hatch, framed and boarded the opening to streamline the layout.
First Fix – Electrical & Plumbing
Carried out the first fix of electrics and plumbing, ensuring all systems were updated and ready for the new kitchen layout.
Wall & Ceiling Prep
Prepped and skimmed walls and ceilings, creating a fresh, smooth surface for decorating and unit installation.
Kitchen Installation
Carefully set out and installed base and wall units, ensuring precise alignment.
Customized and scribed end panels, pelmets, and cornices to perfectly fit the space.
Installed doors, hinges, worktops, and splashbacks, focusing on every detail to achieve a seamless look.
Fitted appliances, including the oven, hob, extractor, and sink, integrating them smoothly into the design.
Second Fix – Electrical & Plumbing
Completed the second fix for electrics and plumbing, ensuring the kitchen was fully functional.
Flooring & Finishing Touches
Prepped and sealed the floor, applying self-leveling compound for a smooth surface.
Installed vinyl flooring for a durable, modern finish, and added the plinth kickboard for a clean edge.
Sealed all worktops, units, and flooring for a polished, professional finish.
Decoration
Prepped and decorated the walls and ceiling, tying together the fresh new look of the space.
